Fiber-optic communication system is a strong candidate to provide the fast and accurate communication system which is currently in great demand. Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) is a multiplexing scheme commonly used for fiber-optic communication system, in which information is imposed on several distinct wavelengths. Add Drop Multiplexer (ADM) is an important part of such scheme, considering that in a single strand of fiber there can be more than one information stream. ADM will simultaneously add and drop the different information stream along the path of the fiber. This research aims to simulate ADM using Fiber Bragg Grating and optical circulator with three different wavelengths as information carriers. The programming language used is Visual Basic 6.0.
