Medicinal Herbs Connect Atma Jaya with Health Industry

Jakarta, March 13th, 2020 - Atma Jaya Catholic University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding academic and research cooperation programs with PT. Phytochemindo Reksa (12/3/2020). Representing Atma Jaya, Elisabeth Rukmini, Ph.D., Vice-rector for Collaboration and Research, said that this agreement would bring benefits for both sides.

 

"This is a great MoU where the company would admit our students as interns for one semester to improve their skill and help with works at the company," said Rukmini.

 

Rukmini aiming for both parties to collaborate in joint research and wished for the PT. Phytochemindo Reksa to hold seminars or workshops on the campus grounds. 

 

"Other than the internship program between semester two to six, we also open to arranging joint research. Moreover, for seminar or workshops series,"

 

President Director of PT. Phytochemindo Reksa, Patrick Anthony Kalona, signed MoU with the Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia.

 

The agreement includes PT. Phytochemindo Reksa to hold a workshop session in Atma Jaya campuses, academics and professional improvement support, and scientific research and publication.

 

"As an industry, we wish this agreement would allow us to collaborate with the relevant faculties’ daily ventures regularly. We have a great expectation for the studies from the joint research to be commercialized to Indonesia or overseas market," said President Director of PT. Phytochemindo Reksa, Patrick Anthony Kalona, after the MoU signing meeting.

 

This cooperation is an endeavor for Atma Jaya to complete the Ministry of Education and Culture’ Kampus Merdeka policy. Atma Jaya is ready to facilitate its students for internships to gain experiences beyond classrooms and to introduce professional life.
