Biography
dr. Kardiana Purnama Dewi, Sp.DVE, FINSDV, FAADV, widely known as DokDew, is a board-certified dermatologist, venereologist, and aesthetic practitioner with a strong focus on evidence-based approaches in the management of skin health and quality. She has a particular interest in integrating clinical practice, pathophysiological insights, and advances in dermatologic technology within modern dermatology.
Throughout her professional journey, Dr. Kardiana has been actively involved as a speaker and facilitator in various scientific forums, workshops, and training programs for medical professionals in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She is recognized for her structured, clear, and approachable delivery, with an emphasis on both deep understanding and practical application in clinical practice.
In addition, she is actively engaged in public education through digital platforms, providing accurate, curated, and accessible information on skin health while maintaining scientific integrity. She believes that the role of a physician extends beyond clinical care, encompassing the responsibility to serve as an educator who bridges medical knowledge with the evolving needs of society in a responsible and sustainable manner.
