Biography
Dr. dr. Tena Djuartina, M.Biomed., PAK(K) is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia.
She completed her medical degree (1999) at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, and subsequently obtained her Master’s degree (2007) and Doctoral degree in Biomedical Sciences (2019) from Universitas Indonesia.
Her areas of expertise include anatomy, histopathology, and experimental animal models. She has been actively publishing since 2022 and has produced a total of 68 national and international scientific publications.
In addition, she contributed as a translator for the 25th edition of the Sobotta Atlas of Anatomy (Elsevier). She has also authored several books, including Osteology and Clinical Orientation, Musculoskeletal and Clinical Orientation, and Exploring the World of Animal Models: Science, Ethics, and Innovation. She also served as editor of the book Clinical Anatomy of the Abdomen: Anatomical and Surgical Approach.
She is actively involved as a reviewer in various scientific journals, including Journal of Applied Toxicology, Frontiers, Wiley, European Journal of Medicinal Plants, Journal of Pharmaceutical Research International, Mitra Mas, Jurnal Kedokteran Meditek, and other scientific journals.
