Friday, October 12, 2018 - The Faculty of Business Administration and Communication Study Program (FIABIKOM) held a Seminar on Sustainable Businesses and Reputation. The seminar was attended by Dr. Eko Widodo (Dean of FIABIKOM) and Kaprodi of Communication Study Program Dr. Dorien Kartikawangi, M.Sc. took place at Semanggi Campus 1 Atma Jaya University on Tuesday (210).

 

The seminar was hosted by Prof. Raymond Figura (westfälische Hochschule, Germany), speaker and discussants Fardila Astari (Rajawali Foundation Communication Director), Ricky Suhendar (PT Amerta Indah Otsuka‘s Corporate Communication Director), Petty Fatimah (Editor in Chief Femina Media) and moderated by Prida Ariani, Ph .D (School of Communication Lecturer at Atma Jaya University Jakarta).

Sustainable Businesses and Reputation discussed how organizations can survive in the midst of rapid changes and the role of communication in them, related to the School Of Communication at Atma Jaya University.

 

"If the communication between leaders and staff is not done properly, the internal organization will change and the path will not reach the goal. Internal communication with employees helps how these employees have a sense of pride in the company so that they can contribute maximally, "said Dr. Dorien Kartikawangi, M.Sc.

 

Corporate Communication, Marketing Communication is a formal way of communicating to external parties. The media helps disseminate organizational achievements to the community so as to help build a positive reputation.

According to Prof. Raymond Figura building a reputation in the millennial era can be started from yourself and knowing your own strength. Hopefully with this seminar students can take the advantages of the experiences provided by the speakers at this seminar.

 

After that, Prof. Raymond Figura expressed his appreciation to Atma Jaya University because according to him Atma Jaya was the best campus and one of the best universities in Indonesia. "Atma has a high standard and from my perception Atma has people with good and educated attitude." (BY)
