The heart’s pulse and body temperature examination for the patient at the treatment room of hospital is important to do, because the heart’s pulse and body temperature is a very influential factor to determine the health condition. The changes of patients body temperature and heart’s pulse, can be fatal if it is too late to discovered. The purpose of this research is to design a device that can monitor heart’s pulse and body temperature electronically. Microcontroller AT89C51 is used as the main controller of the system and connected through serial port to the computer. This system use RS-485 standard communication. This device work by compare ,the value of heart’s pulse and body temperature with its normal value. The result of compare process is displayed on the monitor. Result of the test, the temperature sensor‘s resolution is 99,7725% and the heart’s pulse sensor‘s resolution is 97,827%. The system works as designed specification in overall.
