In CDMA system communication, fading is a very common problem. This problem can be solved by using diversity methods, one of which is antenna diversity combined with a power control algorithm. This scheme uses two or more signal paths with 0.5, 4, 8, and 10 wavelengths antenna space in the receiver at the base station. The signal transmitted to the receiver comprises of superposition signals which are reflected randomly and the receiver will choose the strongest signal by using selection combining algorithm. The strongest signal will be used for γtarget or SIR target to power control system and the BER performance is analysed based on SIR measuring. Simulations are done for up to 10 users with 100 km/hour speed. It is shown that the diversity and power control perform better for a user with 10 km/hour speed compared to a user with 100 km/hour speed.
