Responsibility towards the Environment

 

As part of our responsibility to the environment and the world, AJCUI is committed to safeguarding the future of earth with the steps taken in the following sectors

 

Based on the Rector Decree No 3740/II/SK-OT.30.01/12/2018, Atma Jaya is required to cut down 3 points in order to sustain a better earth:

1. Water

Atma Jaya is committed to save water through rainwater harvesting and its usage for daily matters. The cleaning and Building Management staff also conducts regular checking of water faucet to make sure they are properly closed and prevent leaking from happening

 

1. Electricity

All units of Atma Jaya must turn off all Air Conditioner and lamps in the building prior to leaving the office at the clock-out hour. All hall way lamps are also patrolled and turned off at 7 PM, unless someone is still working overtime on that building floor

 

1. Use of Paper
   1. All documents that do not require wet (actual signature) should be made in pdf copies and using e-signature
   2. One sided print will be re-used for printing unless they are confidential document

 

Atma Jaya also provides specific garbage bin and separate waste into 2 categories (organic and non-organic waste. The dumping of the waste also separates the 2 categories before sending them to the government dump truck to the landfill.
