Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, and Smart Grid Laboratory

Electrical Machinery & Smart Grid Laboratory

It serves as an innovation center and learning space for students to test and develop standard mechanical and electrical equipment commonly used in modern industry.

Through collaboration between lecturers and students, this laboratory has successfully created its own innovative products. The main focus of teaching and learning activities in this laboratory is on redesigning machines to improve energy efficiency, as well as analyzing problems that arise in machines before modifications are made.

The teaching process in this laboratory is aligned with modern industrial practices and is supported by the implementation of special Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain student safety.

Featured products such as Artificial Wind Power and Water Power play an important role in helping students understand renewable energy conversion processes that generate electrical energy from wind and water.

The laboratory also encourages students to actively participate in the publication of scientific papers equivalent to international journals or Scopus-indexed publications every year.
