The legitimacy of a contract in Indonesia shall be in accordance with the provisions of Article 1320 of Civil Law Regulation. One of the provisions for such legitimacy is that the agreement between the two parties involved in the contract. This provision is part of the subjective provisions of a contract that is related to the subjects of the said contract. If the subjective provision is not fulfilled, the contract can therefore be cancelled (voidable, vernietigbaar). This book, “Supply and Demand in Contract Law,” attempts to present a comparison from a legal perspective between the common law system and the contract law in Indonesia. The book is hoped to contribute to the discourse on contract law concepts from these two perspectives. Complemented with actual case studies, this book is well suited for any law students.
