UAJ Goes Global: Lecturers Pass GRI Certification for Sustainability Reporting

To enhance the capacity of lecturers in sustainability reporting, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) held a GRI Route A certification program for 15 lecturers from six universities within the Erasmus + ECoGREEN Consortium Indonesia: UNPAR (PIC), UBAYA, SCU, UAJ, USAKTI, and UNWAHAS. This program aimed to equip participants with an understanding of internationally recognized sustainability reporting standards and was held from January to April 2025.

Certification, conducted through the GRI Academy, encompassed learning about the basic principles of sustainability, the GRI Standards, and their practical application, culminating in a certification exam. Successful participants received an international certificate recognizing their competency in sustainability reporting.

From Atma Jaya University (UAJ), two lecturers passed the GRI Route A certification: Mr. Adji Pratikto and Mr. Elnath Aldi (both from FEBUAJ). This participation strengthens the role of higher education institutions in promoting transparency, accountability, and quality sustainability practices.
