Atma
Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (UAJ) is actively involved in the
development and implementation of the ECoGREEN Training Module, demonstrating
the university's commitment to fostering the transformation of MSMEs toward
sustainable business practices and green entrepreneurship. This program aligns
with the values ??of Laudato Si', which emphasizes caring for the common home
through the balanced integration of environmental, social, and economic
dimensions.
The
ECoGREEN Training Module program is a collaborative effort between six national
universities: Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) as Project Lead (PIC),
Soegijapranata Catholic University (SCU), the University of Surabaya (UBAYA),
Trisakti University, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (UAJ), and
Wahid Hasyim University (UNWAHAS).
The
ECoGREEN training module equips MSMEs with a practical understanding of ESG,
sustainability reporting, sustainable leadership, accounting, design,
agriculture, manufacturing, and management. UAJ specifically contributes
through the development of Sustainable Reporting and Sustainable Management
modules, as well as the active involvement of UAJ lecturers in the
implementation of the training held at the University of Surabaya (UBAYA).
Through
a theoretical approach, case studies, hands-on exercises, and action planning,
this program emphasizes that sustainability—in the spirit of Laudato Si'—can
begin with simple, consistent steps that have a real impact on MSMEs,
communities, and the environment.
Proud of UAJ – Caring for Our Shared Home through Knowledge, Action, and Sustainability
