As a commitment to encouraging the
transformation of MSMEs toward sustainable business practices, Atma Jaya
Catholic University of Indonesia (UAJ) is holding the Mentoring MSMEs: A
Collaborative Journey in Sustainability Reporting and Export Readiness program.
This program is a continuation of the Phase 1 Training, part of Work Package 5
(WP5), and is funded by the Erasmus+ ECoGREEN Consortium.
This mentoring program presents a
collaborative and applied approach, involving 10 MSMEs across sectors, ranging
from Tourism Villages, Drones, Waste Management, Natura Home Décor, Food,
Circular and Sustainable Fashion, Fashion and Craft, Plastic Waste Processing
into Eco-Friendly Furniture, Craft, and Wellness and Beauty. The mentoring is
provided by 18 lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business and the
Faculty of Law, along with 16 FEB students, creating a dynamic learning
ecosystem with real impact.
During 70 hours of intensive mentoring from September to November 2025, MSMEs were equipped with the skills to prepare Sustainability Reports, strengthen business governance, and increase their readiness to enter broader markets, including exports. This activity serves as concrete evidence of the role of universities as catalysts for innovation, collaboration, and sustainability, while also encouraging Indonesian MSMEs to move up a level and become globally competitive.
