Biography
Zsarin Astria Puji Insani is an academic with a background in Tourism Science and Tourism Management. Her teaching areas include Bahasa Indonesia for Scientific Writing, Event Business Management, Coffee Shop Business Management, Restaurant Business Management, Tourism Operational Management, and Sociology and Anthropology in Tourism. Her research interests focus on living labs for tourism education, tolerance tourism, heritage tourism, tourism education, and event and festival management. She is committed to developing practice-based learning experiences that encourage critical thinking, creativity, cultural inclusivity, and responsible tourism practices. Through the integration of education, research, community engagement, and industry perspectives, she seeks to connect theoretical knowledge with the evolving needs of the tourism sector. She also promotes collaborative and experiential learning to strengthen students’ professional competencies and social awareness. Her academic work aims to prepare adaptable and responsible tourism professionals while contributing meaningfully to tourism communities, educational development, and the advancement of inclusive and sustainable tourism.
