Biography

Asih Anggarani, S.S., M.Hum. completed her postgraduate studies at Sebelas Maret University (UNS) in 2015. She is an academic, researcher, author, and arts practitioner whose scholarly interests encompass sociology, culture, and linguistics, particularly sociolinguistics, dialectology, and Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA). Her research findings and scholarly contributions have been published in various accredited national scientific journals and conference proceedings and presented at national academic forums.

She is also the author of Terampil Menulis Ilmiah di Perguruan Tinggi (Developing Academic Writing Skills in Higher Education), published by Graha Ilmu, which has been adopted as teaching material at several higher education institutions. In the area of community engagement, Anggarani actively contributes to the empowerment and development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Lebak, Banten; South Tangerang; Jakarta; and West Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara.

Beyond academia, she is actively involved in painting, the arts, and theater, including performing as a lead character in the play Republik Cangik with Teater Koma in 2016. Her commitment to humanitarian causes is also reflected in her involvement as a volunteer in disaster-relief efforts following the Yogyakarta earthquake, the Mount Merapi eruption, and the West Nusa Tenggara earthquake.
