Prof. Stanislaus S. Uyanto, Ph.D., is a statistician who earned his doctoral degree (PhD) from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He holds the academic rank of professor of statistics.
His specializations include applied statistics, statistical computing, Monte Carlo simulation, and heavy-tailed distributions. His research has appeared in international journals such as Communications in Statistics—Simulation and Computation, Austrian Journal of Statistics, Pakistan Journal of Statistics and Operation Research, Cogent Business & Management, and Communications in Statistics—Theory and Methods. He is the author of Pedoman Analisis Data dengan SPSS. At Unika Atma Jaya, he teaches Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, and Research Methods.
He is a member of the International Statistical Institute, the American Statistical Association, and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics.
