VISION OF UNIKA ATMA JAYA

The vision of Atma Jaya Catholic University is formulated as follows:

 

"To become a leading university that has academic and professional excellence at national and international levels and that consistently embodies a combination of Christian faith, science and technology, and Indonesian culture in an effort to educate the nation's life."

 

The term 'academic excellence' refers to quality graduates who are shown by a high GPA and timely study period, as well as the implementation of quality research and community service programs as the practice of science. The term 'professional excellence' refers to graduates who can be relied upon to work with scientific mastery, skills, and with an attitude that can be accounted for.

This word 'professional' also refers to professional education. In this case, the combination of faith, science and technology, and Indonesian culture needs to be lived together by all citizens and graduates of Atma Jaya Catholic University.

 

MISION OF UNIKA ATMA JAYA

Meanwhile, the mission of Atma Jaya Catholic University is formulated as follows:

1.        Organizing academic and professional education for the development of knowledge, professionalism, and character of students;

2.      Conducting basic and applied research for the advancement of science, technology, and cultural arts (IPTEKS);

3.      Dedicating expertise in the field of science and technology for the benefit of the community; and

4.      Manage higher education effectively and efficiently in an ethical and dignified academic atmosphere.

 

Based on the vision, mission, and core values that underpin 4 (four) main systems. The four main systems include:

1.        Governance System;

2.      Sistem SDM;

3.      Funding System; And

4.      Infrastructure.

Vision, Mission, Goals, Core Values, and built on the ideals of the founders, the development of internal dynamics that have occurred so far, and are based on cultural values and higher education philosophy that adhered to while considering everything that develops in the external domain, such as: ideology, politics, economy, social, culture, defense and security (ipoleksosbudhankam); The key to success in achieving the vision, mission and goals of higher education lies in 4 (four) main pillars of higher education, namely the availability of good governance, superior human resources, funding systems, and adequate infrastructure;

 

So that the relevance of higher education is based on the vision, mission and goals of Atma Jaya Catholic University which focuses on human development, health, and nationality for the improvement of the welfare of dignified and equitable urban communities. Realized with
