Biography

"Prof. Dr. Hana Rochani G. Panggabean earned her Bachelor's degree from Universitas Indonesia in 1994 and then continued her doctoral education at Universitat Regensburg, where she completed her Ph.D. in 2001. With expertise in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Prof. Dr. Hana focuses on Intercultural Competence, Intercultural Communication, and the Psychology of Domestic and Global Diversity. Her extensive knowledge and experience in this field provide her with deep insights into social dynamics in diverse organizational environments. As an educator, she teaches courses such as Medical Education Science, Intercultural Communication, and Diversity Management in Organizations, while guiding students in qualitative research and intercultural cooperation psychology.

 

 As a leading psychologist, Prof. Dr. Hana has produced significant research in organizational psychology and development. In 2022, she published the study ""The moderating effect of perceived organizational support toward burnout on work engagement in nurses,"" which explores organizational support in reducing burnout levels among nurses. In the following year, she conducted research titled ""Construct Validity and Reliability Testing of Perceived Job Stress as an Academic Leader (PJSAL) Instrument,"" to examine job stress among academic leaders. Other research, including ""Exploring Parenting Stress in Young Adulthood with Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE)"" and ""Family communication dynamics: equilibrium with dialectical tension in 'Turning Red' film,"" offers new insights into stress and family communication dynamics. Finally, in ""Influence of Work-Life Quality on Turnover Intention among Jakarta Millennials—Mediated by Organizational Commitment,"" she examines the effect of work-life quality on turnover intention among Jakarta millennials, demonstrating Prof. Hana's dedication to understanding and improving psychological dynamics in social and professional contexts."

 

Education

Prof. Dr. Hana earned her Bachelor's degree from Universitas Indonesia in 1994. She then continued her doctoral education at Universitat Regensburg, where she successfully completed her Ph.D. in 2001.
