Biography
Prof. Dr. Y. M. Dorien Kartikawangi completed his undergraduate education at Sebelas Maret University in 1990, followed by both his Master's and Doctorate degrees at the University of Indonesia in 2000 and 2009, respectively. With expertise in Business Communication and Crisis Communication, he teaches courses such as Social Entrepreneurship, Crisis Management, and Organizational Communication, and supervises students in their thesis preparation. Prof. Dorien's deep understanding of effective communication strategies in the context of business and crisis management is invaluable in educating the new generation of professionals in the field of communication. As a leading academic, Prof. Dr. Kartikawangi has produced various publications that reflect a profound understanding of communication dynamics. In his work "Digital Communication in Organizations for Millennial Employees," he emphasizes the importance of guidance from direct supervisors to enhance collaboration in digital work environments. Prof. Dr. Y. M. Dorien Kartikawangi earned his Bachelor's degree from Sebelas Maret University in 1990. He then pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Indonesia, obtaining his Master's degree in 2000, followed by his Doctorate from the same university in 2009.
