Biography
Prof. Dr. Clara R. Pudji Yogyanti A. completed her undergraduate
education at Gadjah Mada University in 1983 before pursuing her master's
studies at the State University of New York at Albany, where she earned her
degree in 1989. She then completed her doctoral program at Katholieke
Universiteit Brabant in 1996. With expertise in Educational Psychology, Prof.
Dr. Clara has a deep understanding of the learning processes and individual
development in educational contexts. As a lecturer, she teaches various courses,
including the Application of Psychology in Education, Group Dynamics, and
Positive Education, while guiding students in Dissertation Proposals and
Research Designs.
As an experienced psychologist, Prof. Dr. Clara has produced several
important research works in social psychology and development. In 2021, she
published studies such as "Acceptance of Senior Citizens Living
Alone," which explores societal acceptance of elderly individuals living
independently, and "Self-Compassion for the Sandwich Generation,"
which highlights psychological support for the generation caring for both
children and parents. She also researched the relationship between regular
learning and academic adjustment among students, as well as factors influencing
risky behaviors in adolescents. In 2022, Prof. Clara continued her work with
the publication "Analysis of Child and Adolescent Participation and
Engagement in Indonesian Society," focusing on the roles of children and
adolescents in Indonesian society. These works reflect her dedication and
commitment to understanding psychological dynamics within a broader social
context.
