On September 30, 2025, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, in collaboration with the ECoGREEN consortium, held an online mentoring session for MSMEs via Zoom Meeting. The event was attended by 10 selected MSMEs committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
This mentoring program focused on assisting MSMEs in preparing Sustainability Reports, a crucial step toward strengthening their competitiveness in the global era. During the sessions, MSMEs discussed various green business practices, ranging from developing tourism villages and utilizing drones for environmental monitoring, waste management, natural home décor, local culinary delights, circular fashion, and product innovations from plastic waste.
This activity not only provided a technical
understanding of sustainability reporting but also encouraged MSMEs to be more
environmentally conscious, integrate circular economy principles, and
strengthen their eco-friendly business identity. With this ongoing mentoring,
it is hoped that MSMEs will be increasingly prepared to become part of the
green business ecosystem that makes a significant contribution to society and
the planet.
