The activity is a continuation of
international collaboration built together with the European consortium
ERASMUS-HUIS in the ECoGREEN project and funded by Europe involving Wageningen
University & Research (Netherlands), Hasselt University (Belgium), The
evaluation of the Ecogreen module refers to the assessment or review of
learning modules related to environmental and sustainability themes in
Indonesia. The purpose of this activity is to ensure the empowerment of small
and medium enterprises by creating modules and implementing training modules
for small and medium enterprises to be more concerned about the environment.
The evaluators involved in the activity were Dr. Dyna Rachmawati, Ak., CA.,
from the Accounting Study Program, Widya Mandala University, Surabaya and Eti
Dwi Rinawiyanti., Ph.D. Industrial Engineering Study Program, University of
Surabaya. The activity began with the Opening Remark of Prof. Markus Hartono
and Prof. Dr. Budi Widianarko as PIC in Work Project 3 ECoGREEN, while the
group discussion session was guided by Prof. Dr. The event was closed by Dr.
Theresia Dwi Hastuti from Soegijo Pranoto University, and Dr. Johanna Reny
Octaviani, Prime Minister of the ECoGREEN Project from Parahyangan University,
concluded the event.
The event proceeded smoothly and
ensured that the module outputs would truly benefit the Indonesian community,
particularly Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), raising awareness of the
importance of balance between business, the social environment, and the planet
we inhabit. With guidance and direction from the speakers, the session
concluded with an agreement that the first implementation would be to provide
mentoring for each module at member universities, with a minimum of 10 MSMEs
participating from the 11 modules. It is estimated that by 2025, these modules
will have been implemented by at least 66 MSMEs in Indonesia.
These results are expected to
snowball, spreading ideas, thoughts, and concern for a more sustainable social,
economic, and planetary environment.
