Lisa Esti Puji Hartanti is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication Science at the Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia who is currently pursuing a doctorate in Communication Science at the University of Vienna, Austria. Her topic dissertation is " Social Media Influencers in Indonesia; A Critical Case Study on the Status and Development of Media Literacy." She is also a member of the Indonesian Digital Literacy Activists- Network (Japelidi), and she has contributed as a book author team titled "Kolaborasi Lawan (Hoaks) COVID-19: Kampanye, Riset dan Pengalaman Japelidi di Tengah Pandemi" or "Collaborating against Covid-19-s Hoaxes: The Campaigns, Researches, and Experiences of Japelidi in the Pandemic Era" and module titled "Etis Bermedia Digital" or "Digital Ethics" that has been launched by the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Informatics in the 2021 year. Besides that, she is also a member of the Association of Indonesian Communication Science Higher Education and the Indonesian Public Relations Association. During the pandemic, she became a team of the communication division in the Indonesian Taskforce of Covid-19. Her professional experiences are as a lecturer of communication science (2014-now), media relations officer (2015-2016), head of public relations (2016-2017), and head of the student, alumni, and career affairs (2017-2019) in Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. She graduated with a bachelor-s degree from Atma Jaya University of Yogyakarta (2003-2007) and a master-s degree from the University of Indonesia (2012-2014). She immerses in the fields of study of Media and Digital Literacy, Communication and Media Education, Communication Policy, and Communication Technology.
