Biography

Liria Tjahaja, a lecturer at the Catholic Religious Department, graduated with a bachelor-s degree in catechetics from Sanata Dharma University, Yogyakarta. she continued her master-s and doctoral studies at the University of Indonesia, the department of anthropology specializing in religious anthropology. Her thesis and dissertation showed her deep interests in exploring the spiritual life of Catholics with ethnic Chinese backgrounds. she produces research and publications related to the field of Catholic religious education and anthropology studies. In addition, Liria has been widely involved as an activist in pastoral activities at the local and national levels. She has been an invited resource person for educational institutions and ecclesiastical institutions, such as the Indonesian Bishops- Conference and the Diocese.
