The Faculty of Law of Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia was established on July 3, 1965 and has begun its first operation in the Semanggi Campus since early March 1971. Throughout its development, the Faculty of Law of Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia has opened five specialization programs, such as Civil Law, Criminal Law, State Law, International Law, and Business and Economic Law. The Faculty of Law has also opened its Master’s Degree program with 4 (four) study programs, including International Trade Law, Banking Law, Industrial and Labor Relations Law, and Taxation Law.
The curriculum of the Faculty of Law is designed with the aim that students can gain an understanding of both theory and practice. The Faculty of Law of Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia has also developed an Academic Venture Program called Certified Human Resources Program (CHRP), which has produced more than 1,000 alumni. In addition, the Faculty of Law has established cooperations with various institutions, such as LPSK (Indonesia Witness and Victim Protection Agency), KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission), RRI (Radio of the Republic of Indonesia), PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Association), and others.
